Puppy Extended Care

Need a Little More Time?

If you’re unable to pick up your puppy at their scheduled 8 week go-home date, we offer extended care on a limited basis.

Your puppy will remain in our home and continue receiving the same route, socialization, and care they’ve had since birth.

  • Available by reservation only

  • $35 per calendar day beginning after the scheduled go-home date

  • Payment is due before boarding begins

  • Reservation fees and all prior payments remain non-refundable

Failure to Pick Up

Puppies not picked up as scheduled without prior approval will accrue $35 per day beginning the following day.

If no communication is received and the puppy is not picked up within 7 days, Island Doodles reserves the right to consider the puppy abandoned. All monies paid will be forfeited, and the puppy may be placed with another approved family.

🐾 Premium PawTree nutrition

🐾 Daily cleaning and sanitizing of their living area

🐾 Individual playtime and enrichment

🐾 Continued socialization with people and appropriate dogs

🐾 Potty training

🐾 Crate training

🐾 Basic manners and confidence building

🐾 Daily health monitoring

🐾 Plenty of love, cuddles, and supervised exercise

Please note that extended care is intended to maintain your puppy’s routine and development and is not a substitute for formal obedience training.

Boarding for Island Doodles Alumni

Boarding Requirements:

  • Current Vaccinations

  • Flea and tick prevention

  • Dogs must be healthy and free of contagious illness

  • Food must be provided if not using PawTree

  • Boarding is by reservation only
